By creating an account or using the Admission Chance website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy.
The Admission Chance calculator is freely available to all visitors regardless of age — no account is required to use it, and no personal data is collected from anonymous sessions. To create an account and access account features (saving schools, tracking deadlines, and optionally opting into data sharing with education partners), you must be at least 16 years of age. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 16 or older. If you are between 16 and 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. Accounts created by users under 16 will be terminated.
Admission Chance provides a statistical tool that estimates the probability of college admission based on publicly available acceptance rate data, average GPA ranges, and average test score ranges. The Service also provides tools to save favorite schools, compare schools side-by-side, and track application deadlines.
All academic information on Admission Chance is self-reported by users. We are not affiliated with any educational institution's records system and do not access, store, or transmit official education records governed by FERPA.
Admission Chance does not use student personal information to engage in targeted advertising, does not build profiles for non-educational purposes, and does not sell student information for any purpose unrelated to educational outreach.

College admissions decisions are made by individual institutions based on holistic criteria that our tool cannot fully capture. Admission Chance is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any college or university unless explicitly stated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, create multiple accounts, or violate these Terms.
You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can delete your account directly from your dashboard (using the "Delete Account" button at the bottom of the page) or by emailing admissionchance.contact@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.
If you opt in to data sharing, you consent to having your academic profile (first name, email, GPA, intended major, graduation year, and state of residence) shared with partner universities and colleges, test preparation and tutoring service providers, educational technology platforms, and scholarship organisations as described in our Privacy Policy. This consent is voluntary, revocable at any time via unchecking the "Opted In" checkbox at the bottom of your account dashboard, and does not affect your access to the Service's core features.
Admission Chance receives compensation from education partners when we share your profile. This compensation allows us to keep the calculator free for all users. You are not charged for this service, and the amount of compensation does not affect your admission chances or which partners receive your profile. Compensation is not tied to any specific outcome.

All content on the Admission Chance website, including text, graphics, algorithms, design, and software, is the property of Admission Chance and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or publicly display any content without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of the personal data you provide, but grant us a license to use it to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT, INFORMATION, AND MATERIALS PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination or deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except for anonymised aggregate data used for research purposes and consent records retained as required by law.
These Terms are currently governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and applicable United States federal law. Admission Chance is currently operated from Ohio, USA. We intend to relocate our operations to the United Kingdom in late September 2026. Upon that relocation, these Terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. For users in the United States, California law applies to privacy matters as required by the CPRA. The governing law change will take effect on the date of our UK establishment and will apply to all users from that date forward.
Class action waiver (US users only): US users agree to resolve any disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations. This waiver does not apply to users in the United Kingdom or European Union where such waivers are not permitted by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Admission Chance regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
