Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 23, 2026  ยท  Effective: Immediately

๐Ÿ“‹ Plain-English summary: When you create an account, we collect your first name, email, graduation year, state of residence, GPA, and intended major. We also collect your age solely to verify you are 16 or older โ€” this is never shared with anyone. This data is collected primarily to share with education partners (universities, test prep companies, and scholarship organisations) if you give us explicit consent. We never share your data without your explicit consent, which is obtained via a dedicated screen after signup with two equally prominent buttons. You can withdraw consent or delete your account at any time. Admission Chance receives compensation from partner organisations when we share your profile. This is how we keep the calculator free.

๐Ÿ” DATA BROKER STATUS DISCLOSURE

Admission Chance may be considered a "data broker" under the laws of certain U.S. states, including California (Civil Code ยง 1798.99.80), Texas, Vermont, and Oregon, because we collect personal information about individuals with whom we do not have a direct ongoing relationship and may share that information with third parties (partner universities, test preparation and tutoring providers, educational technology platforms, and scholarship organisations) for valuable consideration.

As of the Last Updated date of this policy, Admission Chance is NOT registered as a data broker in any state. Consequently:

If you reside in California, Texas, Vermont, Oregon, or Connecticut, your data will never be sold to third parties regardless of your consent selection.
